Cabela's Snowrunners

Item: Cabela's Boot's
Model: Snowrunners
Manufacture: Cabela's
Specs: 400gram Thinsulate, full Goretex lace up boot.

Date used: 12.30.07 to present

Conditions:Snow, Mud, Slush

Good: Boot fits great. No break in required. Boot laces up tight and is adequately warm. Sole is good on ice and fair on wet tile. Boot simply looks good. No large plastic ring around the boot. It still looks like a nice hiking boot as apposed to a sorel mud boot. Fits much better then other Cabela boots in the same price range, insulated or not.

Bad: Sometimes if feels like the sole is coming off. I can see that it isn't, however at times if feels and even sounds like it is. The tongue of the boot doesn't always fit right in the boot. Seems to bunch up a little unless pulled out when lacing up the boot. Small thing but annoying.

Nitty Gritty: Great boot so far. I'm interested to see how they hold up under daily wear for the rest of the winter and spring.
